The wall gets repaired before it gets painted
A painting license alone does not cover repairing the plaster, stucco or drywall underneath a wall's problem, so if that wall has a crack, a bulge, or a section of blown out stucco that has to come out first, that work sits outside what a painting license permits. Repairing that wall and painting it happen in one visit here, because the company holds both a Class B general building license and a C-35 Lathing and Plastering license.

Interior painting
Interior work often starts with a wall that needs repair before it needs color. When exterior work opens a wall from the inside, whatever gets damaged behind it gets repaired and painted in one visit, not handed off to a second contractor.
Interior painting also runs on its own, not only as the finish step on a repair. Our painter brings twenty years in the trade.

Exterior painting
Exterior painting often finishes a larger stucco job instead of arriving as its own visit from an outside painting company. Jose describes the exterior scope as running from demo to paint.
Exterior work slows in the rain, which is when interior jobs get easiest to schedule quickly. Scope can mean one exposed wall after a repair, one full elevation, or every side of the house.
Exterior painting also plays a role in larger multifamily renovations, following stucco repair or new stucco and re-stucco as the final trade on the same building.

What a painting estimate depends on
Surface condition sets the starting point. A wall that only needs a new color takes less time and prep than one where the paint is failing down to bare material, or where the surface underneath needs plaster, stucco or drywall work first. Whether repair comes before paint moves the estimate more than anything else here.
Interior and exterior are scoped differently even on the same house. Interior work is scoped by room count and by how much wall, ceiling and trim each room actually has. Exterior work is scoped by elevation, so a single wall exposed by a repair is a smaller job than every side of the house.
Access moves it too. A second story elevation, or trim and eaves worked off a ladder, takes longer than the same square footage at ground level.
How a painting estimate works
Every call gets sorted first: a straight repaint, or a repaint that starts with plaster, stucco or drywall needing repair. For a straightforward repaint, photos are usually enough to start. Anything attached to a repair gets an in person look at what is behind the surface.
The free consultation usually happens the same day or the next, and the scope, the color, the finish and the price come back in writing the same day or the day after that. The crew cleans up daily on interior and exterior jobs, and a final walkthrough closes the job. That is the full process, start to finish.

Does exterior painting have to be part of a stucco job?
No. Exterior painting runs on its own. Say so when you call and the estimate is built around the repaint alone rather than a larger exterior scope.
Will new paint match my existing stucco color?
On a repaired section, usually not right away, and our stucco repair page explains why. Where the difference would show, we recommend repainting the full elevation so the wall reads as one surface instead of a patch with a visible edge.
Do you do interior painting with no repair attached?
Yes. It does not have to wait for the rainy season, and it does not have to wait on an exterior job either.
What if you find drywall damage once painting starts?
This crew does its own drywall repair, so that damage gets priced and finished alongside the painting instead of turning into a separate call.
If you repaint over stucco you repaired, is the paint covered too?
The stucco assembly underneath is, against water intrusion, for two years, material and labor. The paint film itself is not: that carries whatever the manufacturer offers on the product. Your written proposal names which is which before work starts.
